Last April, Alea Tulum had the pleasure of hosting 11 national media, which were provided with a complete experience, both in terms of lodging, gastronomy and destination activities.

With the valuable support of important commercial partners such as Volaris, Tukankin, Tulum
Diving Travel
, and Quique Tours, Alea Tulum gave these media 4 incredible days. As the flight was very early, they were welcomed with an energizing Mexican breakfast of mole chilaquiles with barbecue, followed by a relaxing massage on the dock and a beautiful Mayan ceremony at sunset.

During the second day, Caballito Tours sponsored a gorgeous tour to two cenotes in Coba and a Mayan Community, where the press had their lunch and visited the melipona bee hatchery; as a curious fact, these bees are small, non-aggressive and stingless, their honey is medicinal and delicious.

At the Mayan community, Xunaán Kab, they learned the process of making tortillas and tasted the traditional “poc-chuc”, cooked pork with salad and rice, served with beans, fresh hand-made tortillas and hibiscus water. They also have a temazcal and a refreshing pool.
